The Bug
So I have recently come to realize what my next tattoo will be. This is an original work done by my grandmother Carma Read. I am going to incorporate the Bird and flowers in to a quarter sleeve. I think I will also use some of the stars above too. The tree is so cool, but I would have to blow it up so big to get all of the detail. The thing is figuring out who will do it. I have had all of my work done by Tom Coles up in Kamloops B.C. at his shop Shambhala. I really can't imagine going any where else even though it is thousands of miles away.

this is you're mom's mom right? so she would be my VERY distant family ;) I dont think ive ever met her- understandably so (considering i met you 8 years ago... wow... thats quite a while ago!)
dear dhanan,
so, I bet you know what my suggestion will be...
DUTCHMAN TATTOOS!!!
Seriously, for anything this precious, permanent, and detailed, I suggest going to the master, John the Dutchman.
his prices are good, his studio is immaculate and his style is perfect. After 11 years, my tatoo barely looks 1 year old.
anyways, my dear friend, just my 2cents worth.

The Dutchman!
Yeah I remember you talking about him before. Will he compose a custom drawing for me? It will be a little tricky and might take some time to get it just the way I want it. But I like the sound of going with the Dutchman. He’s in New West right?
Haribol,
yes, he has a new studio just on the border of new west and burnaby. sort of behind the value village on Kingsway and edmonds. Well, at least a 5 minute drive away.
I'm not sure what his program is for custom design. I know one of his priorities is to make sure that the picture suits the canvas (skin).
If you are coming up, i guess the best bet will be to coordinate a meeting with him in his lovely new zen like studio.
