Life at work
So today is my second of three days working from opening till closing. Each day is eleven hours. I am going to be closing my cart down and we are leaving Sacramento. Things are a bit strange now. There isn't anything officially set up for us after this. Our boss is excited for us to move up to Seattle and start projects there opening in malls, but he hasn't paid us for last month yet, and we are coming up on our next month of payment. Not to speak of the expenses from February until now, including a hotel bill I put on my credit card for close to three thousand dollars. So we are nervous about getting paid. He has given his word and promised that we will be paid for the work we have done, but if we go to Seattle things will be different. Rather than a base pay he wants to pay us by our performance. Working here in Sacramento wasn't put together all that well. I thought we were going to open more carts and have a more dynamic situation, but instead we were just put at the carts for the last couple of months and there were no moves to open any new stores or carts. Instead of moving on to the next thing we had to stay in one spot.
So now I am working for thee days, eleven hours a day until we close this cart down. I would like to go to Seattle and not have to worry about getting paid on time, and to also have a more active roll in making things happen. If everything else fails then we will go back to Los Angeles. Will have to re-think my plans for the future.
I hope I have more interesting things to write about in the future. This seems rather boring to me. I'll just throw some pictures in to make it more interesting.

wow, dhanan, your like famous now. This reminds me of that scene in the Jerk with Steve Martin when he finds his name and number in the phone book.
Would you like some Yogi and potatoes?
