Calendar Studios
Here is a picture of my studio with my new M-Audio BX8a studio reference monitors. I wanted bigger speakers to get more low end for mixing drums and bass.
This is me at my store. I think it was slow at the moment. It will be picking up later on for sure.
Another day at the store. I just got (some) of the missing fixtures I needed to finish the back of my store. Wow, I can't keep on talking about this shit. It's boring! Okay. I had my good friend Buddha come over to my studio and listen in on some tracks I put together. He is all up for writing and recording drum tracks to my music. That means the last missing piece will soon be filled in. I will also get to test my new fancy drum mics. And here is the really interesting part. He lives in Leemore (a few hours away). He said he can drive his drums here no problem, but where to set up and record drums? I really didn't know, then he was like, "how about in your store?" Of course! After hours there is not a soul around the mall except security. I have the only keys, and access 24/7! Killer! So We will set up in the back room after the store closes, record all we like. Tear down and store the drums in the back room until the next night for more recording!
It turns out my very sweet, meek, petite, East Indian,(female) roommate has a class C drivers license! Endorsed for air brakes and triple trailers! She drove eighteen wheelers last summer for a job! That's crazy! Now if I were to think of all the impossible scenarios, well that would surely be one of them.
